He went from not participating in school, to “the model student” (quoted from his teacher). He didn’t like school at all and all did the minimal if that. His grades were average to below average; he didn’t like going to school or doing homework. Here is what his teacher had to say about Jordan within weeks of his reconnection; Jordan is a dependable boy and one of our letter citizens. He is very cooperative and takes an active part in all our activities. His oral reading is fluent and his comprehension is good. He takes great pride in his work, but needs to keep working on his handwriting skills. Jordan has demonstrated his eagerness to learn and has become a model student. He challenges himself, works hard consistently, is responsible, and has an “I can do it” nature. Jordan is a pleasure to have in class. Jordan will be missed next year. My name is Heather and The Reconnection I had really changed my life. I had been having female problems and told I wouldn’t be able to have children. I went to Sabrina and she asked me to focus on the problem at hand, and I did. I experienced seeing colors and faces. Then I heard a voice tell me to go to school. At first I wasn't sure what that had to do with the problem, but then about a month later I found out I was pregnant. Having a baby is the best education I have received.
